Financial policies and processes are poorly documented and difficult to access. Work groups across the organization repeatedly experienced delays in accessing funding which resulted in operational delays in the field.
solution
We organized content and developed a user-centered information design that integrated policies, procedures, and workflows. Content was tagged and indexed to support multiple entry points to the funding process and required procedures. Employees and work groups gained rapid access to their funds and field complaints regarding funding delays decreased dramatically.
